Digital Inclusion & Accessibility
Would you like to make digital content and applications accessible to everyone? Learn how to make your organisation digitally accessible in the CAS Digital Inclusion.
The CAS «Digital Inclusion – Accessibility» provides you with knowledge and tools to make digital technologies in your organisation accessible and usable for everyone - with a special focus on the needs of people with disabilities. Among other things, you will learn how to ensure compliance with national and international standards (WCAG). This knowledge will be increasingly in demand in view of the growing social, political and legal significance. Would you like to promote accessibility? Then this CAS is your next step:
- You will ensure that UX/UI designs are accessible. This means that people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive impairments are not excluded.
- You sensitise teams of developers and designers so that they can design and implement accessible products.
- You will learn how assistive technologies such as screen readers, speech recognition software, Braille displays and other aids are developed and used.
- You will develop your own awareness and understanding of the needs of people with disabilities and the challenges they face in the digital environment.
- You will know what is important to ensure that content is barrier-free and as accessible as possible for all people.
