The changing needs of internal and external stakeholders mean that new approaches need to be introduced, particularly in administrative and non-profit organisations. On this course, you will learn how to develop, plan and implement concepts, ideas and policy guidelines.

Course objectives

Graduates of this course:

  • Will be familiar with effective control and working tools that make possible the systematic and interactive development, analysis, and evaluation of business ideas and business plans.
  • Will be familiar with methods and instruments with which it is possible to recognise potentials, make ways of implementation visible, use resources optimally and assess risks correctly.
  • Will be familiar with methods that can be used to direct creativity and motivation into structured channels and to achieve added value for their organisations.
  • Will be familiar with methods with which such projects can be successfully managed and implemented.
  • Business plans: design and structure
  • Generation and evaluation of concepts, ideas and policy guidelines
  • State of the art methods and instruments for the preparation of a business plan

Own business plan: you will be required to draw up the most important aspects of a business plan using the skills you have learned during this course.

Business plans will be presented and discussed on the last day of the course (including a review of the theory-practice transfer).

Admission requirements

You do not need to meet any specific admission requirements to participate in this specialist course. If you would like your completion of this specialist course to be credited towards the CAS Public Management and Development course, the general requirements for admission to university-level continuing education will apply.

You have 3 years from attending the first day of the first specialised course to complete the CAS.
