08.04.2025 Join us on 10 June for the 2025 HAFL Hugo P. Cecchini Institute Annual Event, where global voices explore how cooperatives are driving innovation, inclusion and impact. Free and open to all — on campus and online.
Which innovations are driving cooperatives? What steps are they taking to address inclusion? How impactful are cooperatives in emerging economies?
On Tuesday 10 June, from 1.30–5.30pm, diverse voices aim to answer these questions and more at the HAFL Hugo P. Cecchini Institute Annual Event “Cooperatives for a Better World: Driving Innovation, Fostering Inclusion and Increasing Impact.”
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the HAFL Campus in Zollikofen and streamed online. A networking apéro will be held from 5.30pm.
Who can attend?
Everyone is invited to be involved in the Annual Event! Students, academia, people working for cooperatives, the private sector, policy makers, civil society, international organisations, and the general public are all welcome.
Held in person at the School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (HAFL) in Zollikofen, Switzerland, and also online, our Annual Event is free to join.
Ask questions to professionals in a welcoming environment, learn about cooperatives, be involved in the workshops, and network at the apéro.
Programme
The programme, in English, includes a keynote speech, panel discussion and three workshops, followed by a networking apéro. The keynote and panel discussion will also be streamed online.

Registration is required. Please complete the registration form by Tuesday 3 June.
A maximum of 150 people can attend in person. Online attendance is unlimited, but only the welcome, keynote speech and panel discussion will be streamed online. The workshops cannot be streamed.
When registering, please advise if you will attend in person or online, and if you will join the networking apéro.
